The staff at night was very rude. The area around the hotel was very dirty. I found a cockroach in the bathroom. I would not recommend this place for anyone.

The room was disgusting. There was mould in the washroom and I couldn’t even sleep in the beds. Cleaning lady came in the morning. She left me dirty towels, and I’ll never go back again.

The motel was nothing like the pictures on the internet. The only reason I chose this motel it looked really nice and it had a pool . We get there NO pool No handicap accessible and my husband is in a wheelchair, it was awful me and my grandson trying to pull him up on the sidewalk to just get him in the motel. No apologies for anything. We rented two rooms they had us on the second floor and I told the lady I couldn’t do that because there was no elevator, finally she said I can try to get one room on the first floor and she kinda went from friendly to pretty much nothing , she first told me oh it’s just bout 5 or 6 steps and I said my husband is in a wheelchair. Then she said let me see if I can switch one of the rooms and she did. But like I said earlier in this statement the pool was the reason for taking this motel I have custody of my grandkids and that’s why we took this motel was the pool. But on Saturday we had to search and find the kids something to with water so we found the Russell simms aquatic center and had to spend extra money for them to swim. I think we were terribly misled by their website. I’m gonna stop right here

Our room - as non smoking room - smelled terribly of smoke. Additionally, our television didn't work until the front desk attendant came up to fix it. We also didn't have a working phone, which wasn't a giant issue except when we tried to report the issue with the tv. The front desk attendant was helpful and attentive.

A roach greeted us

We just needed an inexpensive place to stay, since it had been raining and we opted to no longer camp. The guy at the front desk when we checked in was far from being friendly; despite my trying to be pleasant, he didn’t even crack a smile. In fact, I’m not sure he ever even made eye contact. The guy the next morning at check-out was MUCH friendlier. We had requested the second floor but were only offered a room on the ground floor. That wasn’t a big deal; but the largest turn-off for me was being greeted by a cockroach in the bathroom! That’s never happened to me in a hotel before and definitely made me wish we had chosen one of the other nearby also-inexpensive hotels instead. Oh well. We were tired and my husband just killed the roach and flushed it. The bed was very comfortable. I also look for bedbugs and did not see any signs of them (that was a relief), but underneath the chair cushion was so dirty that I didn’t even dare sit on the chair while we were in the room. There was also breakfast — waffles, cereal… Overall, it met our needs for a comfortable bed and roof over our heads. It was better than staying in a tent! But personally I don’t think I’d stay again.
