Bow hotel rooms a the Independent

"We come down from BC half a dozen times a year and always stay at the Best Western Plus. The location is very convenient, it’s right off the I-5, and unlike so many other hotels that are off the highway in Bellingham, you don’t have problems with homeless people on drug addicts here. So many of the other local hotels are sketchy for that reason. Not this place. I saw something during one day that was going on with a guest that was drug related, and they got rid of that person almost immediately so I feel very safe staying here. The staff are great, the breakfast is decent, and it’s very central to everything. We will always stay here every time we come to Bellingham."

"Room was very clean. Nice view of grassy park out of window. Only thing I didn’t like was the lighting in the bedroom section. There is only a bright overhead light near the bedroom window (quite far from the center of room), or a tiny light by bed headboard. Check in was quick and easy. Parking easy."
