Spotless room, recently re done and very tasteful and contemporary. Beds were awesome, ceramic mugs and large glasses. There were no nightstands or table lamps, only a shared wall lamp between beds, so that was a downer for me. I used our cooler as a night stand. Friendly staff. The room and lobby were decorated with the owner's art work which is sort of modern impressionist land and sea scapes. Very very nice. We will probably be back.

The room was very cold. The heater worked but was very noisy. Only one very thin blanket on the bed. We paid extra for premium room not realizing the premium rooms overlook the road and it was very busy and noisy all night long. The in room coffee was terrible.

Room did not look like photo on website. Lighting was bad. Refrigerator was missing its handle. Heating unit was loud. Other noise came into room, too. Place felt a bit dingy.

The room was great. Had all the accommodations for being a small room, very clean all my needs were met. The only thing I would had enjoyed better was the cable service great for people who like to stream and are efficient in using service. I like simply and easy. I would recommend the Anacortes Inn. When we told the hotel that our reservation was fraudulent they were very understanding and accommodating. However, after many attempts and long sessions on hold, hotels.com was impossible. We will NEVER USE them, ever again.

The room was nice, clean, and easily accessible, but the walls are very thin. I could hear everything everyone was doing inside their rooms or outside on the walkway. Someone in the room next to me turned on the TV around 4am, and I could hear the entire show. I did appreciate that there was no extra charge for parking.

Heat/cool unit woke me when cycled on. Kitchenette sink serves as bathroom sink. Has sink, microwave, refrigerator and coffeemaker, but no place to sit and eat. Bed squeaks. Tub looks like it was refinished, and the coating is coming off. Other than that, it was perfect.

Pros: helpful staff, clean rooms, comfy beds. Cons: thinnest walls and ceilings possible, rowdy clientele, terrible wifi, bare minimum amenities. We stayed 3 nights. First night we were kept awake by the ice maker (two doors down), foot traffic (both overhead guests and adjacent stairs), and loud guests. We were relocated to the upper level after speaking with the front desk. Second night was fine but WiFi didn’t support remote work in the morning. Third night we were woken by yelling guests and slamming doors at 1am and 3am. Do not recommend and will not return.

The room was very clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable and the ac was great. The not great was that the WiFi didn’t work, tv didn’t have the basic channels so you have to use your own apps or suffer with Pluto tv. And finally, some of the other guests were a bit sketchy, not a good feeling. But it was very quiet and I slept well.

Best for short stays

A/C heating unit was extremely loud so had to be turned off in order to sleep. Fortunately the weather was mild. There are no closets just some hooks on the walls so a stay of 5 days meant having to haul out the suitcases every day. No housekeeping until day three is the norm as this motel. Beds were comfortable and staff was friendly. Location is convenient on main drag. Very nice park for kids adjacent to motel with big playground. Downstairs room was noisy when guests were in room above because structure is old and creaks loudly when people walk around upstairs. Internet is very slow. We did not use tv so don’t know about that. Coffee maker broken on arrival, but I took it to the office and was given a brand new one. I like their online pre-registration—made check-in a snap.

Modern Minimalist

Our room has no view as it’s by the stairs. However, it was away from traffic and quiet. A second shelf as a nightstand would be nice, and a chair would be helpful. The room is very small. WiFi is slow at times.
