"Our room at this resort looked out on a stunning view of Capitol Reef's red rocks. Our area of the resort was built into the side of hill--we had balcony view yet the door to our room was level with our parking spot. The onsite restaurant food was good with very good service. The pool was nice with good lounging options. Check-in was easy too. "

The lobby area greets you with a fireplace video of a cracling fire, several tables at which to relax, coffee and tea provided or other beverages and food available for purchase, soothing background music is playing and the air is pleasantly scented. All of this helps you relax and feel at home. So this all gave me an elevated feeling of being a special guest. "

"Excellent location and views, Stayed in cabin, very nice, As others have said water pressure very high, didn’t bother me or wife but an easy fix would be a larger showerhead, coffee maker would be nice but is offered in lobby"

"Delightful surprise. Its an older motel, spiffed up and redone very tastefully. Very clean, comfortable beds and pillows, fluffy towels, larger than expected room size. Staff of both hotel and restaurant were pleasant and helpful. We ate at the restaurant twice. Very good food and very reasonable. Don't be afraid to give them try. Would stay again in a heartbeat."
