Hotels near Bottesford Station

"We’ve stayed here before and the hotel was passable. But this time there was no hot water for at least 2 days in half the hotel. The hotel continued to book people into those rooms despite the lack of a basic amenity. This was on top of the food being particularly poor - we saw several meals being sent back to the kitchen. In the end we cancelled the remaining night on our stay and went elsewhere, and we definitely weren’t alone in this."

"The house is probably fine if you stay there in the summer, but we stayed 14-18th November 2025. The house is freezing cold and to further 'improve' the experience, the company that rents the house have decided to limit the temperature the thermostat can be turned up to. In addition all the bedroom radiator valves have been jammed. So the house is cold and your ability to turn up the heating limited by the owner. I did speak to the landlord about this but he was of the opinion that the setting on the thermostat was adequate. If you stay there and it drops below 10 degrees outside you will be wearing a coat in the living room like we were."

"From start to finish everything was just perfect! Directions to find the hut were clear and check in was easy, the hut was beautiful and had everything you need for a lovely little weekend away. The hot tub was amazing - sitting out under the stars enjoying a drink or two! We ordered more wood for the hot tub and it was dropped off to us in no time at all. We took a short drive to Belvoir castle for coffee & cake - a nice little place to have a look round if you fancy getting out and about. It was a pleasure to meet Chris the owner on our last evening - keep up the good work! We cant wait to come back! :) "
