This property is immaculate with a modern fully fitted kitchen for guests use. The showers etc work perfectly and are a shared facility.
There are parking spaces for three or four vehicles and the town centre is a 20 minute walk away.
The stairs up to our very comfortable room were very steep but that was the only down side.
I would recommend this very reasonably priced accommodation.

Disliked: Staff & service
Ground floor at a busy crossroads. Lots of street noise, so had to close the windows, despite it being warm. The blinds did not totally cover the windows so people passing by could see into the room if they wanted to. Parking was not good, I had to park on the street. The shared bathrooms were wet from the previous day. I was up and out early. The sink was behind the toilet so to clean your teeth you had to lean over or kneel on the loo itself.
The room itself was clean and the bed was fit for purpose. The other patrons were not at all respectful, making noise at 4am.
But, it was cheap and served a purpose as I was only there from 10pm - 7am.
The rooms, communal areas and bathrooms where spotless, 10/10 for cleanliness. The interior is stunning and would definitely stay here again. However, the showers wouldn’t give hot water. Although maintenance are quick to come and fix this when you call, the problem is ongoing as the boiler isn’t strong enough to power the whole building, they need a bigger one or a second one. The residents who are staying there long term, told me it has been like that a while. I had to wash myself from kettle water in a mixing bowl I found in the kitchen. That was the only downfall, otherwise I can’t complain as they let my dog stay with me which I am grateful for. Staff on the phone are really helpful and polite.
The key code didn't work initially. The ad mentioned free breakfast, which wasn't in fact available. The bedroom is next to the road and it is very noisy, even with ear plugs in.
1) Place looks smart in the inside as it presents as having been recently redecorated/ renovated
2The steps to the upstairs bedrooms are very steep and narrow and therefore great risk when carrying language
3) the two bathrooms are all on the ground floor and therefore an inconvenience for guests on first floor bedrooms especially if you want to use the bathrooms often.
3) Along very busy and noisy road 24/7
Where to start guys I am ex army I would rather be back in barracks than stay here. The cars are safe they said? Locals said watch van always getting broke into. I paid for a breakfast!!! There isn't one.. The room well you may as well sleep on the road the noise of it. And parking well you may get 2 cars in car park tops....
Dreadful area rough as toast.. You need body armour to walk round.
And so called hotel is right on top of traffic lights I have stayed at some good hotels it may be great if your on parole as a half way househostel... But thats it.. It's about as rough as can be. Clean room.. Clean shower but don't venture out... Don't take car and after about 2 hrs of phoning for the combination to get your key!! I'm still awaiting management to ring back after I paid for breakfast. And refund
