"Pool was closed by city. Room was dusty and grimy. Blankets were thin and cheap. Beds were really noisy and old. People had loud music past midnight. People sleeping in their cars in the parking lot. Lobby is never open. Parking lot was full of shattered glass. Check in was easy."

"The worst experience!! I rented a room for my daughter and my mother around 8 PM. When my daughter arrived at 12 AM, the reservation had been cancelled, and the guy working there had no idea what was going on; there were other people facing the exact same problem... I booked the room through Expedia, and they refunded my money."

"Booked a room and there were about 5 roaches when we came back from the wedding we attended. I immediately spoke with front desk and they FORTUNATELY had 2 rooms left for the night so we were able to get another and that one was better. There is a peculiar smell in this area. Smells like sulfur/rotten eggs/sewage, but I think it is due to environmental factors not hotel specific."

"The Gaylord was so nice and huge! The pool was amazing and didn’t seem overly crowded. No need to save pool chairs when they first open unless you want the front row. Our room was really clean and still smelled new! also, don’t fall for the valet like we did the first night. It’s $65 to valet and the parking wasn’t bad at all. It’s connected to the hotel and a nice walk through the property. You won’t regret staying here"

"Disgusting! Stained sheets towl shower curtain smelled like cigarettes old damp and wet ac was not working correctly beds felt like the have never been replaced dead roaches in the fridge over all filty old run down"

"The check in process was smooth and staff was very helpful. This is a “you get what you pay for” no frills hotel. We wanted to stay somewhere for cheap right outside San Diego and we found it. The room came with the basic amenities plus a decent breakfast so we were happy. Just don’t expect more than that. "
