"the place was a lovely little stay in a quiet part of town and a nice escape. Breakfast was handcooked and excellent. Lots of cute knick-knacks abound throughtout the house and in the room. If you don't like clutter it may not be ideal but we loved it. And the low cost does not mean low quality -- if you like a cozy intimate place to stay the night, you'll feel right at home"

"Nice hotel and nice beds. We were on the 4th floor and on a Saturday night and it got a little loud with loud cars racing, but for that area of downtown it's normal. The bartender and waitress were absolutely fantastic. We'd go back just to talk with them again."

"The exterior of the building was pretty rough, with weeds and a defunct/decrepit section that used to be a Denny's. I was dreading what I was going to find in my room but the room and bathroom itself was clean, comfortable and quiet. The air conditioner worked. The TV did not work."

"The location ON the Moose River was gorgeous but the cottages are VERY close so it was a little noisy. The decorations on the grounds for Halloween were adorable! It was difficult to learn how to operate the TV and the heaters (it was cold in the mornings). There were no instructions left to run either item and when we called the number listed, we could only leave a message but nobody called us back. We had to wait till the next day when the office was open ..then someone came right away. The shower was NOT spotless, and the floors weren't super clean. The main bedroom was ok but the bunks in the bunk room were small and not so clean under the mattresses. There was only ONE small area to hang clothes. They left no cleaning supplies or paper towels to clean before we left."
