"Room was clean and well maintained we tipped the cleaning staff. Sign of slight mold in sealant at bottom of shower, but no smell. It was thoroughly cleaned. We were in one of two rooms on 4 th floor and had access to rooftop seating area easily. We would stay in that room again. Unfortunately at this time the entire road and side road to the hotel is completely torn up by the city, who are fixing drainage and replacing the stone. Cars have no access in front of hotel. Uber or taxi drop you off 80 meters or so down a hill, and you have to haul your luggage up a narrow sidewalk to the entrance. Not an easy feat walking with a cane. I expect maybe in 4-6 mo it will be finished, but good to check before booking. There is a small bar on the ground floor. Wifi worked ok but not real strong."

"The grounds and surrounding view are distinguishing. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. The room was serene and well appointed. Breakfast was superb, but dinner service was slow. Coquillade lives up to Relais & Chateau’s reputation. This was my second visit from the US to the hotel. and I’d happily return."

"We spent 3 nights at this hotel. Communication with the hotel prior to our arrival was easy with prompt responses. Front desk staff were always available, knowledgeable and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. The mattress on our bed was a little soft, so our room cleaner got an extra layer to put on the mattress which helped. We had 2 breakfasts at the hotel - there were 2 options: full buffet breakfast for one price or limited breakfast with charges of 3 Euros per item. We did not take advantage of the Spa services; as Canadian travellers, we spent our time exploring Aix-en-Provence. Highly recommended."

"Dates stayed: 5/30-6/01/26 As expected from Best Western, this is a nice, clean and quiet hotel. Though the lobby is quite busy because it's small, the restaurant/bar & elevators are all located right there. Check in was easy, everyone spoke English. The rooms were nice, clean, the beds very comfortable and the bathroom excellent with good shower water pressure. The location is a little walking distance from the main attractions: Fontaine la Rotonda, Rue Mirabeau, restaurants & shops but if you are prepared to walk during your trip, this location is fine. I would stay here again! Highly recommend, as you walk in the morning from the hotel to the Fontaine la Rotonda, you will pass a pastry shop, Artisan Boulanger Patissier, be sure to stop in for a coffee & pastry/croissant."
