Hotels near Bommer Canyon Open Space Preserve

"This was an excellent hotel but very ultra modern. Since i like traditional decor and furniture there were some things that i did not like. I prefer a chest of drawers in a hotel room not the bench with 2 little drawers which were insufficient. There was no desk just and oval table which did not suffice for our laptops. I would also prefer a microwave to a safe since warehouse 72 only had overpriced fru fru fussy food. Also the pool access was through the parking lot which was a bad design."

"I had a wonderful experience in my 2 night stay. The located is perfect for a quick and direct drive to Laguna Beach. The concierge was very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size, clean, and my favorite part: has a refrigerator and microwave so that I could eat my leftovers from local restaurants. I also loved the complimentary breakfast every morning! I had scrambled eggs, sausages, potatoes with so many other choices like cereal, waffles, pancakes, muffins and more! It was quiet (I never heard anyone running down hallways or any traffic from nearby roads) from my room. I would definitely stay there again. "

"The AC was so freaking loud! Not just the one in my room but the one next door too! I turned mine off all night and still had to deal with the noise. "

"Room smelled damp. Noticed a cockroach before checking out of the room. Bathtub drain plug was stuck in place; had to take a shower standing in rising puddle of water."

"I absolutely hated my time here. The staff was incredibly rude, the manager lady would keep asking when I am checking out every few hours when I saw her. At some point it was rude and intentional as if she’s asking me to get out. She also immediately clowned me in front of a male guest the minute I tried to check in. The property had so many noise issues. The elevator kept beeping. The road had down kind of issue so when cars drove if the freeway it’s so loud. I had to buy earplugs. The fire alarm battery is dying in the room so it would flash alll night. It said when I booked breakfast was included and when I got here it was not. I needed to leave the hotel, I could not stand being here. Also the thermostat temperature does not change the room temperature. There was also 4 cop cars on the property investigating something. I do not recommend staying here. The staff was horrible"

"Had 2 other occupants in room close to ours starting and running their diesel vehicles all hours of the night. Talked to management to be moved. Said I would have to check out in the morning and see if a room opened up later. We stuck it out. Stayed in a different hotel last week which was much nicer and quieter and also more reasonable."
