First room we were assigned had not been cleaned. Front desk said they cleaning staff was understaffed. Hallway carpets were in tatters plus piles of dirty laundry lined hallways (on that tattered carpet) *throughout* the building. Exterior sliding glass door in our room did not lock.

This will be my go to in Boise moving forward. Location, amenities, friendly staff, big rooms. WiFi sucks a little in building 7 but besides that it’s great.

Holiday Inn Express Boise - University Area by IHG
Unfortunately, there was a mild odor in my room... thinking diaper smell. I asked for some deodorizer and no one was able to help me. I suppose I could have asked to change rooms so thats on me. I stay here at least once a year to visit my son at college. Breakfast didn't seem as good this year. ...

Layover Inn Boise Airport
Canceled the stay through the virtual agent. The virtual agent didn't actually canceled anything. Got charged for the rooms and Expedia and the hotel refused to do anything about it.
