We watched (and heard!) capuchin and howler monkeys around the hotel; swam in the clean, warm pool; enjoyed the abundant flowering plants; and ate at the lovely outdoor, reasonably-priced restaurant Location was close to bioluminescence waters, Curu Nature Reserve and more. "Our flight was diverted due to weather, causing a 5 hour delay so we were not actually able to stay overnight but staff kindly let us hang out in the morning and enjoy our breakfast. The breakfast was super tasty and filling. Two scarlet macaws ate bananas at the feeders while we had our breakfast. Such a cool experience!"

"If you’re planning to escape the city’s chaos, this is the perfect place to do it. Waking up to the soothing sounds of birdsong and the gentle cascading of a waterfall is an incredible experience. The staff, including Eric and Carla, are incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. The only inconvenience is that it’s located far from everything and everyone. If you plan on doing any activities in Costa Rica, make sure to plan ahead. Moving around there would be easy with a car. They offer an authentic Costa Rican meal every day. Additionally, they provide hiking activities guided by a certified guide with extensive knowledge."
