Bayfield is such a quaint town with a beautiful beach and Main Street. The Little Inn is a gorgeous spot with a ton of character. The food was excellent as well.
The restaurant is excellent - we loved our Canadian beef tenderloin with walnuts and blue cheese.
The wine selection was reasonable with a wide range.
The Little Inn is quaint and charming.
The hotel staff were each excellent and welcoming, the building charming and the room comfortable, unique and perfectly located to enjoy all of Bayfield. The food and drinks in the onsite bar and restaurant were exceptional. A fantastic stay.
We really enjoyed our stay we had read and heard so much about the place over the years. We are going back for Thanksgiving. The Inn is surprisingly well-maintained considering its age and the area and main street is just beautiful and how you can just walk to Pioneer Park Lake Huron and the food was great.
We loved the ambience of this beautifully restored carriage house. Their restaurant serves delicious country fare, the prime rib was the best.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
The Little Inn in Bayfield was quaint and charming. The staff were lovely, and the breakfast was very nice and good value. The inn was clean, although it is a little westhered, and unfortunately our room had noticeable cracks in the ceiling, and a significant one that looked like part of tge ceilings could fall in. The toilet also needed attention as it would run continually. We reported these things to the reception and they took note. We did enjoy our stay there.
Good character. My only complaint is one comfortable chair to sit on and no real air flow. Room 8. Very warm even with the window open. Slightly over priced for the room size. Confie bed. Food in the willow room was very good.
Highly Recommended!
We had a wonderful stay at The Little Inn in Bayfield.
This hotel is a true gem, vintage beautiful, well maintained and in a great location.
The staff were friendly, welcoming and professional. The room was beautiful, renovated, comfortable, very clean, the place is spotless.
We also enjoyed the meals at both restaurants, delicious food and great service.
We’ll definitely return to Little Inn for more stays.
Thank you to the entire team for making our visit so enjoyable!
The Little Inn in Bayfield is a unique small hotel. Love the location and it's old world charm. Stayed at the Inn several over the years. Staff is super friendly and very professional.
Loved our recent experience. Thank you Team Little Inn in Bayfield
We loved our stay here with our dog, the staff was lovely and the inn is very nice. I will note, being on the main floor there is ZERO sound proofing. You can hear every little thing going on around you and above you.
Clean room large bathroom.
Staff friendly. Breakfast was good. Would have liked to know breakfast time and wifi code on check in..as we are early risers ...we went looking for coffee. Overall a good
experience in
Beautiful inn, with comfortable and charming restaurant and bar. Stayed here many times over the last 25 years. Wondering if there is now a policy that includes dogs in rooms? Fair bit of barking going on in the next room. Otherwise, lovely stay.
The Little inn is very well situated, right in the heart of Bayfield, convenient for walking the main streets to attend cafes & restaurants & walking distance to Lake Huron,
I gave 3star to this property, because in the room are very small and there were no place to put our luggages and no place to hang our clothes. The tv didn’t work, somehow my husband made it to work.
Also, our room was very close to the restaurant part of the inn, very noisy up until its closing time. Which is about 11.00pm.
The corridors are wood planks & each time anyone walking, you can hear loud & clear their footsteps.
I may stay this inn, but ask for bigger room and far away from the restaurant.
In the heart my partner and I’s favorite beautiful little town of Bayfield! The place itself and the rooms are so quaint and pretty! The staff were so amazing and helpful! Very much appreciate their assistance during our stay, it was very lovely!
Great location for shopping locally owned stores and restaurants. The woman at the front desk on our arrival (apologize for not having her name) was more than helpful and courteous. Room and bathroom was very clean. Enjoyed our stay.
