"First time here Outside nice peaceful and beautiful. Check in person when I checked in was a male not so friendly as he was to the woman ahead of me, maybe because she worked for the company and I didn’t she got offered cookies I didn’t but Anywho none the less he check me in and walked away. I heard in the reviews about the cookies and definitely wanted to try, so I went to Angel who is a sweetheart and she gave me some. Angel was very nice from changing our room because housekeeping left somethings not done. But the next room was great. To Angels bear stories very nice and friendly. Other than that the stay was Awesome the view from the balcony was Amazing. People said in reviews the place looked dated but Cared for Vintage is in. And the cookies upon check in are delicious!! Will definitely come back"

"After a previous Best Western stay in Hickory, this was a relief. Clean and good location. Comfortable bed, but the towels were as thin as sheets, even though they seemed new. "

"Beautiful hotel overlooking the mountains. The Sunset Terrace is the perfect spot to watch the sunset while having a drink or dinner. Two large stone fireplaces in the main lobby add to the ambiance. The rooms are clean and well appointed. There are several restaurants to choose from, including an ice cream shop and gift shops. In my opinion the only place to stay in Asheville"

"The room was clean and comfortable. I would not recommend a poolside room if you want it to be quiet before 11pm or after 8am. Kids at the pool were noisy and disregarded signs for not jumping off the sides and splashing."
