"Breakfast was great"

"Billy was quick and courteous getting me checked in and informed of where my room and everything else was. The only downside is I was on the first floor and people where in and out of their cars all night waking me up several times. There’s nothing the staff can really do about that though. I would suggest ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper like me. "

"This is a stunning property in the old classical sense of dark paneling, interesting furnishings, beautiful bedrooms, brass fixtures, etc. Sleigh beds in the rooms, not just a headboard fastened to the wall! Truly elegant. The Wellington dining room and bar were great. HUGE selection of bourbons and interesting menu. Only faults were a noisy room due to traffic on the street outside...maybe better soundproofing windows in the future. And LIGHT!! The bathroom was very well lit and spacious but there was only ONE dim lamp on the bedside table. No overhead. Difficult to even pack or unpack! But we'd definitely stay again. Maybe bring our own lightbulbs. ; )"
