"The breakfast was good and the staff were helpful. I have taken away stars because of the amenities (very small and busy pool which they did manage with a booking system) and the cleanliness. The bathroom had a damp smell and the bath had a layer of grime on it when it was used. You could obviously see under the sink too which was full of cobwebs. The hotel is now dated and needs a bit of an uplift. "

"WiFi was a major problem as it was not workable with my iPhone. It needs to be upgraded with better protections Everything else was really good."

"Staff were lovely and breakfast was well cooked. Surprised it was a buffet breakfast. We had a really good rate so absolutely no complaints. It was starting to look a little tired, with build up in the corners of the bathroom around the shower, and chips in the walls and paintwork of our room. The view on the top floor is lovely and made for a nice touch to visiting family where I’d originally grown up."

"Rushton Hall is a wonderful place. It sits in immaculate grounds and the building has a fascinating history (ask to see the priest hole!) All the staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive. The pool was warm and clean. Food delicious and well-served. Highly recommended 👌. "

"Been here a few times and always very good. Very convenient location and good quality rooms. Food is good in the bar as well. "

"Nice hotel in a convenient location, my only complaint was that the room was cold and when I asked about it I was told the heating doesn’t come on until 6pm. Unfortunately the heating didn’t seem to come on at any time of dayl, We visited early April."
