"Upon arrival at the hotel we were given our keys to our room and told that dinner in the restaurant was from 5pm until 5.30pm due to there not being many guests staying at the hotel. We went up to our room 204 and when we went into the room and looked around it was very dirty the shower was mouldy and had not been cleaned as it was full of the last guests hair, the bed had hairs inside and the top duvet cover was dirty ripped and had nit been changed from the previous guest, the window frames in the room was rotten and thick green fungy mould. We then rushed into the lift which was like entering a prison van from outside and when the lift opened the man who had been on reception was there waiting to get into the lift and we told him about our room and the bedsheets he was quite rude to us and said them bed covers have been changed today and we told him that they hadnt been changed and he got into the lift. We then went into the restaurant it was quite dark in there and the floors were dirty in the restaurant and we was greeted by the chef who told us that tea was nit from 5pm until 5.30pm but from 5.30pm until 6.45pm and we told him that the guy on reception had told us that the restaurant was only open from 5pm until 5.30pm due to the amount of guests staying at the hotel and to come back or take a seat in the restaurant and wait if we wanted too. No one came to serve us.we asked to leave and refund but was told to get in touch with Expedia for a refund"

"We loved it. Great staff, modern rooms and ideal location. We will hopefully go back every time we visit Blackpool. The only thing that could be better is if you could use your fire stick or the TVs were at least Smart and Netflix, etc could be used. "

"Staff at the Doric are very friendly and efficient. The full breakfast was great with some other choices. single room was good with a 3/4 bed, bathroom was a full bath with shower, over, so could have been a problem for some older folks. Bar and breakfast area nice with view of prom. Hallways to rooms a bit dated and could use a paint update.. I did not attend any entertainment, however there was something on each night. All staff I encountered were very helpful. "

"Room clean well designed and had everything you could need Bed not the most comfortable mattress a bit hard but this is just personal preference Breakfast was good friendly staff clearing tables regularly Parking reasonably priced Would stay here again"
