"This is a 4 star hotel, but it definitely identifies as 5 star. Amazing service from everyone. Front of house - lovely - Arianna was so kind, waiting staff - shout out to Edwin for his cheerful ways, bellhop lovely. The pool was heated to the perfect temperature. On one occasion the hot tub was cold. Room was lovely - we were upgraded to a high floor with an amazing view of the Miami skyline. Location is great - Coral Gables is fun. Loads of walkable restaurants. The bar always seemed to be full. Compliments to the sound proofing team because once you are in your room you hear nothing!!! A great stay - well done Loews "

"Stayed as part of a pre cruise so hotel was recommended . Worse stay ever . Hotel is old and dated . Rooms were not clean properly at all . Changed rooms 3 times First room tattered carpets Second room drain / sewer smell in bathroom shower . Shower either worked the hand held option or shower head . Third room same problems with shower and the condition was not any better . Booked the standard King room as per the cruise booking . Will not go back for sure . Staff did respond to queries and did try to assist but the issues are the building and cleaning . "

"A very old property that hasn't been maintained well. Toilet flush in bathroom for example, was leaking and I had to remove flush tank's lid to fix it every time it was used. Walls of our room had cracks and bathroom had fittings with rust on them. Front desk personnels did not care to respond. "
