I was a bit disappointed when i had to wait for hour and thirty minutes for my room and i got there at 6.30 in the evening. The room was ok and the property was as well.
The gym is really nice. It’s got a lot of equipment in it, but my husband is disabled and he needs a sit down bike to paddle so the workout area for him is not good.
Transparency was an issue for me. There is 99.99 a day fee to have the dog stay with me. I was never disclosed about that hi fee. In addition there is a resort fee. So I ended up paying double for the room I reserved because the outrageous pet fees and resort fees. I normally get charged 25 dollars a day for a pet fee with no resort fees. Everything else was perfect and it’s why I gave it 3 stars instead of a 1 star rating.

Our room was relatively clean, but it reeked of cleaning solution-so much that we could hardly stand to be in the room. Overall, the entire complex needs a good cleaning-minus the strong smell!

Room was not very clean. We reserved our room Jan 5 2026
When we got there March 13 2026 we had no room.
They found us one. But the air didn't work and we couldn't be moved as they were all booked
They suggested we come down early on the morning and get our new room assignmemt but we had and excursion early and wouldn't be back till after 5
When we got back the new room key was shoved at us she said the old key will would for 15 min get your stuff out. Wecfelt like everyone was acting like it was our fault we didn't have our room
The maintenance man and the night desk supervisor was the nicest to us the whole time
Harrah's seems more rundown Everytime I've been there
I don't understand having to ask for towels and coffee everyday. Or ashtrays in a smoking room
And we were informed that you have to pay for the water now to make the coffee
It's come to the point that Harrah's is not worth the money they charge if you can't even keep up the maintenance
We will consider new places next time
Easy to self park, front desk very friendly, fast check in. Had dinner at Port 17 in casino, seafood platter very good was enough for 2 people. Drink service in casino was not there, no one ever came around. Breakfast downstairs in the morning was great , hot coffee and delicious omelette.
Room was clean, staff were friendly. However, at check in I was surprised with an additional “resort fee” of $19.99 per person, which added $39.99 to my bill. Will not be staying there again.
Checked in at 530 p was told no rooms were available, staff was cleaning told they would call when ready. 2 hrs later we went back to desk to find no one called.
Got to room tub shower was dirty, bed made creaking noises just laying there overall not a good experience.

Had reservations made 2 months in advance..drove almost 1000 miles and our room was not ready…waited 5.5 hours for our room to be ready at which time our patience had run out…staff was basically unapologetic ( no guarantee we were told) a charter bus had just come in so we weren’t a priority…manager called me next day and only compensation was a $100 at specific restaurants and one meal was over $50..( we booked a 6 day stay)…very disappointed and will not stay there ever again!
Overall Harrahs was good but not close to great. They need to swap out or add restaurants to the location, it’s severely limited. You’ll be going off site to eat most likely. A good thing is that what they do have during the restaurants hours of operation they will deliver it directly to your door or you can go pick it up.
Overall it was VERY clean and no locations smelled of cigarette Smoke, even the casino floor.
We visited both Beau Rivage and Hard Rock.
This ranks in the middle with Hard Rock being the best in looks, restaurants and cleanliness.
Also on our last day the hot water in our room stopped working (742), maintenance was sent to try to fix the issue to no resolve. Was offered to switch rooms but we were checking out so they comp’d us a few things, thought that was fair they offered to take of us without asking. So service was top notch. Check-in was fast and easy (reserved the room the same day via Expedia). Again was very happy with the service from everyone we encountered. What holds this casino back is the limited number of restaurants.
