"The staff were very obliging and helpful, always smiling and approchable. Pleasant lovely to my two bichons always took time to fuss them. A large green to walk my dogs. The premises were clean and tidy. Parking was excellent π. Breakfast was lovely and tasty, and plenty of it, a good selection. First time I've used Purdy Lodge, but will certainly use it again. Very reasonably priced also. Also looked out onto green fields. The only thing I could find was the fact that there were no Subtitles on TV. Difficult as I am deaf. But a throughly enjoyable stay. "Lovely stay at a lovely location. Staff were lovely a d the lookout room was great. Breakfast was also delicious. My only critique would be the dinner menu didn't have many vegetarian options (one starter, one main and one salad) so we ended up having to get a takeaway instead of dining I. The restaurant."

"Staff very welcoming, professional snd informative. Dinner in the restaurant was superb. It was our first experience of sleeping in a βpodβ which, although small, was very well designed. The towels were beautifully soft. The complementary drinks in the fridge, and the wine, coffees, teas and biscuits etc laid out for us, was a generous touch and much appreciated."

"We have just stayed here for 4 nights and would highly recommend. The room was very clean and had everything we needed .Even though we were on the ground floor at the back we did not experience any noise from the bar or restaurant. In fact the only noise we heard was the cars on the gravel in the car park. The food was excellent there was so much choice for breakfast. The evening menu was amazing all locally sourced food. We tried several dishes and all of them were so tasty and the portions were just right. This place is a little gem in a lovely quiet village. If you are visiting this part of the country stay here you won βt be disappointed!"
