The rooms are comfortable, almost luxurious….the breakfast buffet is amazing, they have a nice spa/sauna, and a reasonable (albeit just essentials) gym. The neighborhood is quiet, so no noise, and easy walking distance to parts of Cologne. Note: the front desk is rarely staffed, which is a key gap in case of emergency needs or scheduling changes."

"I chose this property because a pool and fitness area were high on our priority list. However, the lack of transparency around pricing was disappointing. There was no information online indicating that these facilities were subject to an extra fee, and we were only notified at check-in. Given that our stay cost £500 for two nights, I believe it is fair to expect gym and pool access to be included. I would strongly urge management to make these surcharges clear at the time of booking."
