Very friendly hosts, who helped us check in early when we arrived the morning of England’s group game in Frankfurt so a fair travel, but were extremely accommodating and meant we were able to get to the match early. "Room was ok. A bit warm as there was no air conditioning or fan. The bed was ok apart from the awful pillows (which you will find in most German hotels sadly) which are big, floppy and offer no support to your head. The bathroom was clean.
The hill up to the hotel is very steep if youre walking. Hard work with a heavy suitcase, especially on the cobbles!
Surrounding area nice. Near to the old town with the beautiful castle and churches.
Staff were nice. They spoke English and booked a taxi...
"Lovely accommodation in a beautiful area though we were on foot backpacking and unfortunately there was no evening food available so we didn’t eat as it was a walk back into town.
Nice area to explore either walking or cycling and was very close to walk to the ferry on Rursee to go on to Rurburg. "
