"It’s more like an HMO . The shared bathroom is used by ALOT of people including a family . Mainly single men so not advisable for solo female traveller . The bathroom is not pleasant but clean enough . The room was very clean and well maintained. "

"This stay at Blackthorn went above and beyond what I needed - some time and space for myself to write. "Car park a treck if you have items to carry. Digital key code would not work setting alarm off. Told to wait 45 mins for someone to come and re set until she remembered emergency key in cupboard in hallway. Flat lovely inside however bathroom lock was broken and no cold water coming through the shower scalding us. Reported but nonresponse. Fans on and off from building next door. When going out in the morning seeing the entrance in daylight was horrible. Bins and just not a safe looking place....

"It's conveniently located with plenty of affordable dining options and markets nearby. It's a nice 30-minute stroll to the city center or to the Thames River. The 2 bedroom place itself was nicely remodeled. The city could do a better job maintaining the sidewalks."

"It was just ok. Location was excellent for us which is a big plus but let down by poor communications (no response to phone calls or emails at all). Check in instructions were sent, but after check in time. I wanted to confirm the arrangements upfront as it was getting to the stage where I thought I would need to arrange alternative accommodation. In addition, the flat itself was frankly, filthy. "Mollie's is a unique place. Great for travelers. A bit farther from Oxford than I realized so ridesharing was expensive. Rooms are well appointed. Staff was friendly. Hotel app is a cool idea but needs refinement."

"Only stayed for 1 night as visiting Oxford. Walked by the river into Oxford (25 mins), £9 taxi back. Very clean modern hotel, very nice rooms. Good bar and separate restaurant, tho you can eat in the bar (lots of tables). Great staff. Drinks and food were very good. Lots of parking, easy to find."

"I moved here after my conference accommodations in the city turned out to be substandard. It’s a great little hotel. Very peaceful. Staff is mostly young, professional, warm. I didn’t have the opportunity to use the spa amenities. However, I had a great meal at the restaurant. My room was spacious, clean, well equipped. During non-rush-hour, it was about 15 British pounds to Uber into the city. I would definitely stay here again."

"Excellent staff, made us feel extremely welcome from checking in. Checking in was smooth. Dining room options excellent. Thank you lovely Ellie. Delicious food- fish and chips and steak and ale pie. The room was great and again we really appreciated the effort that the housekeeping staff went to in preparing the room especially because we were there to celebrate a birthday. Booking reservations- Tanya is amazing in sorting everything out. Nice lounge, nice staff in the gym and Spa. A relaxing stay . Great choice for breakfast. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you to the lovely staff at the Oxford Belfry. "
