"This is truly a family-friendly resort. The staff members are very welcoming, attentive, patient, and kind. The grounds of this beachfront property are beautiful. The suites are spacious and comfortable. The food was delicious and the chef considered my dietary restrictions. Every meal was a treat. I wasn't expecting a Thanksgiving Day dinner and was pleasantly surprised. The food, music, decor, and family atmosphere at the Thanksgiving Day dinner were wonderful. There are daily activities for all age groups. I enjoyed sitting on my suite's balcony looking at the ocean and listening to the waves. My son worked out in the gym. It was a great vacation experience."

"Villa Sonate is a lovely property with a very welcoming staff. My room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and always had toiletries and clean, thick towels. The Jamaican breakfast was delicious every morning. Even after Hurricane Melissa, there was hot water in the shower and a beautifully manicured garden. The staff worked hard to cleanup and restore the grounds. This was my third wonderful stay. I'm very comfortable at Villa Sonate."
