"Lovely hotel, our room was great and breakfast fantastic. Didn’t use the pool, fitness centre or spa so can’t comment but they looked nice. Did do a 7km walk run on one of the recommended routes around the hotel which was very scenic. We’ll definitely return when the build is finished and new restaurant is open."

"Lovely deluxe room with balcony and views over the grounds and river Tees, at a very reasonable price. The bar seemed short-staffed, leading to having to wait a while for service sometimes (not a reflection on the staff themselves, who were helpful and efficient)."
