Belle Isle hotel rooms a the Independent

"My room was not properly cleaned, the hallways and elevators were dirty. The cleanest place of the hotel was the lobby. Most of the staff was nice however we did experience a rude server at the Sportsbook bar. Not a good experience at all. "

"Staff was really helpful/nice. Holding bags before check in allowed me to explore the city. Room was clean but not the best at blocking noise. Doors generally slam shut and echo down the hallways. Windows don’t block out loud cars. Still a solid choice to stay in downtown and close to attractions."
