"This hotel perfectly met our needs for the nightly rate. We were in Coimbra for a wedding, and its location was ideal, offering easy access to the city center within walking distance. Thanks to the hotel’s convenient location, we chose to walk to all major attractions, including the university. Although the bed wasn’t particularly comfortable considering the price, I wouldn’t expect anything extravagant. Overall, our stay was great!"

"About a 15 minute walk from the portage along a paved river path. Staff supplied recommendations for dining and Fado options as we were booking in. Excellent buffet breakfast choices and we also enjoyed the Portuguese themed Thursday buffet. There looked to be a number of families staying and a good activity schedule for children. Theme for this hotel was ballet."
"Very central. Easy walking distance of all the sites. Staff bent over backwards to be helpful even offering biscuits and water for the journey as we were leaving. Excellent buffet choice of breakfast and option to order from a menu. Being offered a snack (cake) late afternoon every day we were there and a cocktail and cheeseboard one evening were unexpected bonuses."
"You simply pay for the views at this hotel. There are no frills outside of that (which was fine for my stay) the rooms had AC which was great. The staff was nice but it seems they were understaffed and simple requests took longer than other hotels I stayed at in Portugal. The buffet breakfast was convenient as there aren’t many food choices in the area to go to. I would go back simply because of the views and the relaxing property!"
