"The staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel beautifully decorated, no grot in this establishment. Our room was very clean and the bedding and towels were top quality. The hotel is basically across the road from Betty’s right in the middle of Harrogate so it is perfectly situated. You won’t need your car at all once you have parked it. There are parking bays outside the hotel which are numbered and you pay for your bay which is £15 for a day. We booked breakfast once we were there as our plans had changed. Breakfast was pleasant. The bacon was superb. Breakfast was £13 a head. We had cocktails in the bar in the evening and everything was reasonably priced and the staff were pleased to help you choose a drink. I had some slight adaptations to the cocktails because I am diabetic and the two bartenders were knowledgeable/kind. We didn’t eat in the hotel because we had already booked the Ivy for lunch and a different restaurant for the evening but we wish we hadn’t arranged the evening restaurant and had instead eaten in the hotel. We will definitely visit again and eat in the hotel next time. In the hotel, especially the bar there was a nice mix of ages no children just adults. The only downfall for me was that there wasn’t a bath in our room. I particularly wanted a bath and I had put that as a request but non were available. The height of a hotel stay is having a bath where you are not disturbed… I would recommend this hotel. Thank you for a well needed break. "

"This is my favorite hotel in Harrogate. The location is fabulous, and the hotel’s deluxe rooms are spacious. I stayed for 16 nights this trip, and as always, the staff are professional, positive, and take care of any needs that arise. As a single woman, I also value the hotel having professional staff at their front desk 24 hours a day. I will continue to stay here every time I’m in town."

"Perfect clean large room cosy comfy beds plenty of room for the three grandchildren made extremely welcome especially reception staff loved the pool area restaurant extremely busy however this is expected school half term "

"Room very spacious and really comfortable bed and pillows, clean and my only pick there, no sockets by the bed. Breakfast was great but cold. Buffet style. Dinner exceptional husband had shepherds pie. Staff all lovely and helpful."
