"The Spa wasnt available, but they gave out complimentary vouchers for the Thermae Spa across the road. The room and the hotel was fabulous. The staff were very kind, and always ready to assist. A quality hotel."

"Definately NOT a 5 star hotel. Rooms in massive need of updating, and the spa also. The Spa when we went was very messy, paper cups and peoples slippers/robes on floor scattered about. Looks like in need to some TLC. Visited Bath many a time and far nicer places to stay in my opinion, especially for the price. Building is beautiful, breakfast was as expected, check in fine, staff lovely, location ok 10 min walk into centre - just desperately needs some updating. "

"Hotel was clean and comfortable. My main issue was that there wasn’t decent lighting in the room - the lights in the main room were very dull. Fine for the evening but felt like I couldn’t see properly in the morning - especially as there was very little day light coming into the room."
