"From Jodi's welcoming words and driving up to the Lohhtkeepers House we felt we had stepped into a special place. The location is just like a beautiful story, with the lighthouse circling above through the night you can feel transmitted back to ages past. The house itself is perfect. The Fairy Penguin Colony and wallabes the wander in to the yard make it perfect as you sit on the enclosed porch with coffee looking out prrched above the water. We will long remember our too short stay and dream of going back"

"Absolutely loved my 4 night stay in one of the deluxe cabins. Bed and pillows were perfect. Everything was lovely and clean. Basic kitchen utensils, but everything you need. Loved sitting outside on the balcony. Paddymelons and rabbits were great entertainment throughout the park. Beautiful early morning walks picking the first of the season wild blackberries. They were delicious. Annette, the manager was a delight. Excellent people person. We talked most days. Noticed she was extremely hard worker as well. Will definitely be back. "

"jMy two companions and I recently spent two nights at the Tamar Valley Apartments, and it was the absolute highlight of our trip to Northern Tasmania. If you’re looking for a spot that combines luxury with the convenience of a "home away from home," this is it. ​The Space & Amenities Traveling as a group of three, we really appreciated the layout and how incredibly well-equipped the apartment was. We’ve stayed in many rentals, but the facilities here were outstanding. The kitchen wasn't just a "kitchenette"—it was fully provided with high-end appliances and all the equipment we needed to cook our own meals after a day of exploring. Having a washing machine in the unit was a huge bonus and made our mid-trip logistics so much easier. ​Location & Views The position of these apartments is hard to beat. We were literally right next to the Tamar Ridge Winery, which made for a very easy (and delicious) walk to the cellar door for a tasting. ​The views, however, are the real showstopper. Waking up to the outstanding panoramic vistas across the Tamar River was spectacular. We spent both evenings on the balcony just taking in the landscape—it’s incredibly peaceful and feels worlds away from the city. ​Accessibility Despite the quiet, "tucked away" vineyard feel, it was surprisingly convenient. It was a very easy 15-minute car ride into Launceston for dinner and sightseeing, and the nearby shops in Legana made it easy to grab supplies. ​The Verdict For a group of three, it was spacious"
