"The lodge and its employees are amazing! Everyone is very friendly. WiFi and cell service are spotty and not extremely reliable if that is important to you. The location is amazing if you are spending time in Kings Canyon or Hume Lake. We look forward to returning!"
"Great home shared by a lovely host. Connie was delightful to talk with and get pointers on where to visit both Kings Canyon and Sequoia. Her breakfasts were fresh and provided the energy to enjoy the day hiking and visiting.

"The place was so preety and quiet place. Clean rooms and walking distance to lake. The only thing that i complained about is there is no phone signal, i can't used my phone and no internet. "Excellent location for visiting Sequoia and Kings Canyon NP. The host was attentive, the room was perfect with a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and place settings for 2. I just hope the toilet paper was chosen for the septic system and not because they wanted that brand. I am glad I arrived in the daylight, the short dirt road in would be tricky in the dark the first time.
Dining recommendations were spot on - good food, very friendly service, and close by.
