"This hotel felt more like a resort. It exceeded our expectations. It’s on the expensive side but worth it. The options were endless; pools, hot tub, lazy river or the beach. We loved the outdoor bar that overlooked the beach. Impressed by the cleanliness especially with the amount of foot traffic from the beach and pool areas. "It was in a good location. Looked updated and clean online but hadn’t been updated in awhile and the updates were done poorly. The first room we got was a nonsmoking but was clearly smoked in heavily. Second room smelled better but was not much better in updates. We checked the room for bed bugs and thankfully did not find any! The hotel was old and run down. We felt unsafe there due to the other guests and surroundings. Oh, and no towels at all! Front desk told us their linen truck had not...
