"I booked a sea view room. Stunning views over the Promenade. Look, it’s a very old hotel, so maintenance is needed constantly. Creaking floor boards and dated corridors. That comes with the territory. My room was superb, clean and bright. I was pleasantly surprised by the breakfast (12.50) if a walk in. Piping hot, good selection, spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed, nice and quiet, very helpful reception staff."

"Had an excellent stay, very welcoming and accomodating, great owners very friendly. We had a continental breakfast which was fantastic. Lots of nice little extras like mints, biscuits in room etc great location between lake and shops, not far from seafront. Will definitely stay again"
