Travelers Inn

10/10 Excellent
"This place is a hidden gem!! Reminiscent of the motor courts of old, the charm starts as soon as you pull in. And then the rooms... WOW! Much more spacious than you would think from the outside and absolutely spotless. There is a walk-in closet with iron and ironing board perfect for stowing luggage and hanging clothes. My son and I had doors facing each other on the first floor. There's a little 4x8 ft patio/porch type area in between. Great for sitting out and enjoying the weather if you bring a camp chair. Breakfast was great with a large selection of options: 3 kinds of dry cereal, fruit, bagels, bread for toast or sandwiches (peanut butter & jelly available too), and my favorite, English muffins. The toaster was easy to use and turned everything out with the perfect toastiness. The staff is very personable and accommodating. We ended up leaving sooner than expected and there was no problem with a credit being issued almost immediately. Overall, the perfect Maine getaway!! We are already starting to discuss our next trip and this is definitely where we plan to stay."
