"The split level parking with drive up accessibility was innovative use of the site! To drive up the hill and around the building to access 2nd level rooms (all interior hallway access) was neat. Loved the functioning but safety protected sliding glass balcony door/window and letting fresh air in the room. Still equipped with blackout curtains for guests that need that feature. The separate cottage guest check-in and information station was quaint and well appointed. Don’t miss a walk to breakfast at the independent little restaurant down the hill!"

"I enjoyed my stay at Smugglers Inn. The owners have created a very nice vibe from check-in to check-out. Not to mention, the breakfast was very good and then becomes a happening restaurant at night with interesting menu and full bar selections. Rooms are very clean. Bathroom sinks are a bit tiny, but a relatively small issue."

"Check in was super easy and the staff there were so friendly and helpful. The rooms are really clean and beds are super comfortable! Gorgeous pool and excellent breakfast! And can’t forget to mention how good the coffee is! Would absolutely recommend staying here and I can’t wait until I can get back!"

"Rooms were ready ahead of time very clean was really pleased with my stay this has been the fourth time I've been there and they keep making more improvements this was the best of all of them the view is just absolutely beautiful I brought four of the couples with me and we just had the greatest time everything's within walking distance they will be coming back next year thank you so much"

"Beautiful view from property. Super clean room and surroundings. Quiet. Staff available at all times. Asked for towels and coffee pods one morning and returned to room at 9:30pm to find these were not delivered. Called the # provided for after hours and these items were delivered in 3 minutes with sincere apologies and kindness. We will stay here again next time we visit Maine."
