Sir Christopher Wren Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Very central and well maintained. Good breakfast choice."

The Winchester Hotel & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Very good"

Harte and Garter
4/10 Poor
"The location was perfect. Overlooking Windsor castle & right in the heart of the town centre.
The outside of the property was aesthetically pleasing, however the inside was a completely different story.
Reception was tucked away almost under the stairs, not very open or welcoming, the decor was dated & tired, worn carpets on the stairs & the decor was in much need of updating.
The lift was not working & from all accounts hadn't been for some time. A worker took our bags to our room (3 adults sharing) he had a very strong smell of B.O which lingered long after he had left.
The room was quite large with 3 windows, however 1 window would not close & had to be wedged with a spoon. As the room was cold, obviously the central heating wasn't functioning as we had x2 oilf filled radiators. We had a double bed & a pull out settee bed, both were lumpy, worn & not particularly comfortable, the pillows certainly weren't hotel pillows as they took were hard & lumpy. The room didn't smell fresh either, very musty & in much need of a decent clean as there was rubbish under the wardrobe & bed.
Lovely big bathroom with a bath & a shower ( no handle on the inside of the shower door)
We had a kettle but no milk or tea bags, just a couple of coffee sachets. The TV was not tuned in. They didn't provide a service to make the beds & provide fresh towels, we had to ask for those & make our own beds. It was very cheap to stay there but wouldn't stay again, as the saying goes, you get what you pay for"

De Vere Beaumont Estate
8/10 Good
" Clean room, good pool and breakfast. Nice and buzzy atmosphere with lots of families."

Apollo Hotel
6/10 Okay
"The room was clean apart from some mould in the corner of the bath which was a bit unsightly, also the furniture was quite tatty and in need of replacing or even just given a coat or two of paint. Considering the price I paid and the fact that I was only there for 1 night it wasn't an issue but thought it was very strange that the wardrobe had 2 security boxes but no hanging rail or hangers!!"

The Coppid Beech Hotel
8/10 Good
"Nice room, very clean, helpful staff "

pentahotel Reading
6/10 Okay
"Staff are friendly room has mould in shower. And there is traffic noise through the window of the hotel. "

Village Hotel Southampton Eastleigh
6/10 Okay
"Staff at check in were great. Car park was very full because there's a public gym at the hotel. Hotel rooms are weird - there's only a window in the bathroom. No fresh air available in the actual hotel room. Air con system is rubbish. Room was dusty throughout. Terrible night's sleep because there was a thumping noise coming from above my room - it sounded as if we were directly under the gym and there was always someone throwing weights at all hours. Not a good experience. "

Copthorne Hotel Slough-Windsor
6/10 Okay
"The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating throughout our stay, which we truly appreciated. Unfortunately, our initial room had several moths, which was not ideal. We were aware that a wedding was taking place at the hotel; however, the music was so loud that it made it impossible to sleep. As we were travelling with four young children, this made the situation particularly challenging.
To their credit, the staff handled the situation well and moved us to a room on the fourth floor, which we were grateful for. That said, it was unreasonable to expect guests to pay for a room where the noise levels made it so difficult to rest."
