"Clean room and very helpful and informative staff. The shower took a little while to get warm but fine thereafter. There is an Art museum about a block away and several restaurants too. Parking is across the street in garage but there's a designated drop off area in front of hotel to unload. Did not try their restaurant/bar but it looked nice."

"Saturday morning engineer, Friday evening restaurant server, morning housekeeping staffer and Front desk staff after 6 was horroble...the worst. I've never experienced such a service so alienating in my life. Front desk doesnt pick up the phones or ask you to hold and never come back. Restaurant server walked passed me so many times to give attention to this White family that I had to demand 2 menus, water, service, etc. I asked where could I sit and this Black older man (tall) ignored me so badly that other customers were attentive and startled. The room was tended to but there were no replacement of bath linen just old dirty used bath linen were left to reuse. I had to get dressed in the hallway because engineering took too long to come to fix the AC. Then he gets smart with me while I'm preparing to get dressed drenched in sweat and Im headed to bury my uncle. I will spread the news of the poor customer service of this hotel."

"Location was perfect and rooms were clean. Only problem I had was I booked two seperate rooms, we arrived about 5pm and had to wait for ONE room as two weren’t available right away. The second room wasn’t ready til about 8pm.. if check in is at 4 then rooms should be ready.. "

"This is a cool building with a neat history. They’re just working with a very tight budget for updates. There was plenty of hot water, the staff were very friendly, and there were lots of choices for breakfast. Front desk said it was “grab and go,” but we sat down for boiled eggs, cereal, yogurt, bagels with cream cheese, other various breads, juices, and coffee. Nothing hot except coffee, but plenty of options. Rooms smelled very musty—definitely needs new carpet. Linens clean, pillows of various firmness so we all got one we liked. Sofa bed had a nice memory foam mattress. "

"The location is very close to the harbor and the ball parks along with horseshoe casino. The homeless population is heavy as with any other large city. The rooms are clean but you’ll have to play it by ear. The front desk receptionist had a language barrier which made it difficult at times."
