"We stayed here for a couple of nights for a long weekend exploring the Yorkshire Wolds. The location is great, being close to a few larger towns like Driffield and Pocklington, but also close to some amazing walking including a stretch of the Yorkshire Wolds Way. The room was really lovely, the staff friendly, and the food and beer fantastic. We will definitely stay again when we're next out this way! "
"Unique and intersting decor, loved it.
Some of the bed cannopy needs some attention. You neex to be very friendly with anyone your sharing the room with a bathroom open plan to room and can hear everthing. "

10/10 Excellent
"It was very pleasant stay . Stuff are very friendly and helpful. Big selection of food for breakfast.
Room is clean and big enough. Great location ! Also it is only 5 minutes to the train station "
"Clean comfortable room, all requirements met , tissues hair dryer, iron
Whilst eating breakfast did notice through the window that the outside patio area needed a good sweep . Friendly polite staff very helpful and they smiled !!"
"Was pleasantly surprised by hotel, room was nice, rooftop bar a bonus although there was an unpleasant smell drifting into rooftop from somewhere. Breakfast service and food was excellent. Would stay again and hope the smell was a one off"
"The reception staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making check-in smooth and pleasant. The room was clean and well-maintained upon arrival, and the service the next day was truly impressive. Housekeeping did a fantastic job — they cleaned thoroughly, changed the bed linen, and neatly organised everything in the room while we were out.
I had booked a King Size Room with a City View. While the room itself was comfortable and spacious, the view was a bit underwhelming as it included a nearby construction site with a noticeable pile of sand just a few meters below. That was the only slight letdown in an otherwise pleasant stay.
Aside from that, everything was superb — excellent service, cleanliness, and a comfortable stay overall. Thank you to the team for the warm hospitality!"
"Comfortable room in which you could actually control the AC for hot or cold. Rare! And the breakfast was very good, lots of choices and well prepared and presented. I’d stay again definitely"
