"This was our first trip to Storyland with our children (4 and 1). The Inn and More was the perfect place for us. The room was super clean, the pool was pristine, and the playgrounds and river access were perfect for the kids. We ordered takeout and ate dinners on the picnic tables by the playground which was very convenient. There was a pack n play with sheets and an extra blanket ready for us in the room when we arrived. The lounge was fully stocked with snacks and games for the whole family....

"The hotel was great, the pools and hot tubs were really nice, they did get crowded but we still had a good time, lots of fun things for the kids to do they had a play ground, movie room, ice cream social every day. They only negative was I had requested for adjoining rooms for myself and my sister and when I called the day before they told me the room numbers we were going to be in and were able to accommodate the request but upon check in, we did not receive the adjoining rooms and were on 2 different floors of the hotel. They were sold out of rooms and not able to change is to any closer rooms. The front desk check in staff told us the reservation team must have received that call and did not put any notes into the system, also the computer system was down when checking out so they could not print a receipt."

Eagle Mountain House & Golf Club

"Overall- i loved this place. great vibe- especially the hotel lobby and the huge porch where everyone hangs out.with gorgeous views of golf course and surrounding mountatins. Great classic Inn feel- loved just hanging out there. Cool amenities- golf course on property- cheap (definitely a cheap course- 9 holes not in great condition- but it's fun and you are done in a little over an hour)- so easy to play every day and you just walk over to the starter go. Nice game room with pool table, pong, video games. A full gym & sauna. Really nice outdoor pool. Room was very clean- maybe a bit dated - but what do you expect from such an old building- and not super expensive place. Window A/C- but worked great. Really cool old elevator. The bar is nice- and had drinks every evening before dinner. Only downside to me was restaurant food is definitely below average- probably sysco faire. We went down the hill one night to the Wentworth- and though the vibe there is a much more sterile- restaurant was very good. btw- really enjoyed Tuesdays down the block- kind of a diner type place but everything very fresh!"

"Overall, the hotel was nice and provided a pleasant stay. However, the exterior of the property is quite old and appears to need significant maintenance. The rooms were clean, and it looked like some renovations had recently been completed. The outdoor pool was great, and the indoor pool was also enjoyable. The hotel also has a small lake where guests can use paddle boats, which was a nice feature. However, the deck area around the lake is old and needs maintenance. Unfortunately, the life jackets provided for the paddle boats were in poor and unclean condition. Overall, I would say the hotel is an okay place to stay, but I feel it is overpriced considering the amount of maintenance and improvements that are still needed throughout the property."

"The property is very pet friendly and the staff was all great! The pools and playground were all kept well and breakfast was great! Our room was well kept with the exception of the outlets that needed to be replaced but that was our only concern with the room."
