"Slow at check in as computer system went down. Dissapointed to find we were given a room at furthest end of corridour despite requesting one not too far away due to disabilities. Otherwise stay was good and would return. Bed comfy, shower good, room nice size. "

"A fantastic rustic building set amongst some very picturesque settings with well kept grounds and straight off a main road close to the village of Chard. I was checked in by welcoming and friendly staff who showed me to my room. A nicely decorated room included hot chocolate which was a bonus (most accommodation only off tea and coffee). The bathroom was nice and clean although the shower could have done with better water pressure. I took an hour long walk along the nearby country lanes and took in some lovely scenic views. There were some dining options in and around Chard as well as the Hotel itself. The bed was really comfy and provided a full night's sleep which can be hard to attain when on the road. Breakfast was fantastic with both cooked and cold options and everything was cooked to perfection. I will be sure to look at staying here again given the opportunity."

"This is a lovely hotel. We didn't know what to expect and upon arrival, were delighted by the decor, cleanliness, and the professionalism of the manager who greeted us. Check-in was quick and easy. The room was spacious and comfortable, with all of the basic amenities that we would expect. Breakfast was next level. A full English breakfast, including a full gluten-free and veggie option with doorstop toast. We will definitely return to this hotel in the future, and can't recommend it enough if you are looking for a clean, easy, nicely decorated, quiet, close-to-town location. "

"Broadlands Bungalow is spotlessly clean, comfy and has the most amazing views from the king size bedroom, lounge and dining room/kitchen, it was a perfect spot to relax and take in the peaceful countryside. Chairs, benches and tables are provided outside. Games, puzzles and books are also available. There is a family bathroom with a seat in the shower and also a separate toilet. The kitchen is a large open space and fully equipped with everything you need, there is also plenty of parking. Great communication with the owner, we would highly recommend this fantastic Bungalow"
