"This hotel insisted we had to pay a VAT tax on top of what we paid to Expedia. I have never heard of this before when booking in the USA for a stay at a hotel elsewhere and certainly made this hotel stay less affordable that was advertised by Expedia. I will be following up with Expedia on this practice ..."
