Top Ban Jelacic Square Hotel Reviews
Hotel Dubrovnik
10/10 Excellent
"Great location in the centre of Zagreb, within walking distance of the 'old town' and with a tram stop 200 meters away. Quiet and clean hotel with comfortable beds. Lots of choice for the continental breakfast every morning. Would stay again."
"My husband and I, and our two children ages 6 & 9 spent 3 nights at Art’otel during our recent visit to Zagreb. The hotel had everything we could have needed. The staff was beyond friendly from the time of check-in, to check-out. The hotel is within walking distance to many restaurants, shops & common sights to see! I would absolutely recommend staying at the Art’otel! "
"My husband and I stayed 19 nights at this hotel. I have to say, it’s clean and comfortable and centrally located to the sites, stores, restaurants and such. It’s directly across the street from the train station where we are catching a train to Germany tonight. The housekeeping staff is wonderful. We felt very taken care of. The blonde housekeeper working the 2nd floor deserves a raise! She’s wonderful! The breakfast buffet is really good. Such a large assortment of foods. Overall, we had a great stay! They are pet friendly and we stayed with our dog. The negatives are the two EXTREMELY grouchy old men who work the front desk. They are unhelpful, rude and condescending. One threw a tv remote at my husband and said it wasn’t his problem that it didn’t work. I personally heard him talking on the phone to future guests and was condescending and rude and hung up the phone on them. The other front desk staff were fine. These two old men are AWFUL! Something should be done about them as they are the face of the hotel. I can’t understand being so nasty to guests. I asked to have a 1 hour late check out. After staying 19 nights, it would have been a nice gesture. Nope, the grumpy old man said NO! "
