"1st time at the Ruskin, stayed three nights bed and breakfast, absolutely delighted, most definitely will be back. the staff were brilliant, friendly. polite and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them, our room was spotless (as was the hotel in general),the bar service was spot on with a great choice of drinks and food, the entertainment every night in the cabaret lounge was really good, all in all a great weekend."

"Breakfast has a great variety to suit all including healthy options which I usually find difficult, so I was very impressed. The quality of the food is excellent overall and the staff are very helpful. Coupe not fault the service. I did not give 5 stars because I would have dusted the bedroom better myself. Yes I am fussy, so I expect a hotel room to be as clean as my home when I pay for it. "

"Room was modern and clean. Bed was comfy. Hotel is pet friendly. It says the room has a dog bed and dog treats included in the £25 but it didn’t. I would recommend taking your own dog bed. We were a bit disappointed about this. Breakfast was lovely. Had food in the hotel bar - food was fine for a hotel bar. Spa was lovely and relaxing - worth a visit. The overall site is lovely - nice to walk around and visit the bakehouse. Would recommend overall. "

"Check in was very efficient . The corridors smelt of wacky backy! The rooms were ok. Breakfast was ok the bacon was overdone but everything else was nice. ok stay for what we wanted it for."
