"Decent hotel, could use some updates, could definitely tell it was an older hotel some of the lights were missing or did not work. Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking entrance was difficult to locate, but once found close to hotel and convenient. Lots of restaurants and pubs in the area, unfortunately many were closed on Mondays."
"The hotel was charming with nice clean rooms. The artwork in the hallway added to the charm. The breakfast was delicious and filling. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was ideal for exploring the town. We look forward to staying there again."
"A broken toe cut our hiking trip short, and we arrived at Brook Manor Lodge about 10:00am, hoping to stow are luggage. Even though check-in was scheduled to be at 4:00pm, the owner took pity on us. Within 15 minutes she had moved us from an upstairs room to a first floor suite so we wouldn't have to deal with stairs, and she let us check in right away. The hotel is beautiful and the service is impeccable. Highly recommended!"
"A good place to head from for the ring of Kerry, dingle, Tralee and more. Very helpful staff. Room was good. No air con so we kept the hopper window open."
"We thoroughly enjoyed out two night stay at Barrow Lodge from the minute we arrived to when we left. Clodagh is an exceptional hostess, giving us the warmest welcome, and really useful advice on where to go for food and what to see. The room was big, clean with a lovely view of the estuary. Breakfast was fabulous. We've been recommending it to everyone since we left as it's a little gem and we'd definitely go back. If you're in the area, stay here!"
"The hotel itself looks gorgeous, grounds are maintained beautifully.
The lobby is old school and lovely.
The not so good is the beds, our bed was like sleeping on a plywood board, it was so uncomfortable that we barely slept, the pillows were just as horrid.
We had a late dinner in their bar restaurant, the food was bland and looked like a 10 year old prepared it.
So sorry, for us this was a no return hotel"
