It was farther from where we wanted to be and you only have the one restaurant on site unless you are willing to travel to eat. They do not take credit cards so have cash. "This is a resort with a big heart. We loved the beautiful and quiet grounds, the friendly staff, the comfortable rooms with great views, and the extensive food and drinks menu that never failed to please. Oh, and it has a great pool and WiFi too. On the Wednesday morning of our stay we walked three minutes along the beach to the colourful Malatapay market."

"The resort really lived up to their name as their concierge is literally 24/7. We had a late check-in around midnight and they were able to accommodate us. It has a nice view and is very well maintained. I also like that they have their own little restaurant and the price is just right compared to the neighboring restos that are often overpriced. It is also very close to the whale shark viewing location. "
