"We stayed at Tygart Hotel for a ski trip and absolutely loved it. The hotel was clean, comfy, and so cozy—such a warm, welcoming place to land after a long day on the slopes. It’s a charming small-town hotel with beautiful mountain views, and we loved the beautiful local art displayed throughout the hotel. The full breakfast buffet every morning was a major highlight. Tip for skiers: if you’re getting lift tickets for Timberline Resort, you can purchase them directly at the resort for a discount—we didn’t know and bought ours online in advance. We’d definitely stay here again!"

"A day away doesn't have to be far away I really like this one it’s affordable, modern, and I love the small touches like the mountain lake view curtain on the window. The rooms have newer tech and from the looks of them they’ve been recently upgraded."

"Room was clean, the staff were friendly, free wifi was great. I was glad to see McDonald's was next door to offer breakfast and dinner. The rooms had microwaves and fridges that were helpful. The parking lot and walkways were as clear as they could be with the snowstorm that we arrived in. The only thing that could have made it better was the breakfast selection (eggs, bacon, bananas or a waffle maker would have been nice). They were offering sausage gravy, muffins, apples, cereal and yogurt - so there was a small selection, but nothing that we were interested in."

"Clean room , renovated. New mattresses. Staff courteous helpful. Continental breakfast. Love coming every year with family over winter weekend. Close to mountain Wisp, have big safe hill near resort for sledding. Bring your own sleds. Cross country sleeping on property is also a plus, but bring your own skis ."
