"The room was not what I expected from this chain of hotels. The room was larger than expected. Fortunately I had the non-smoking floor. I had another room room on the smoking floor and it was a pretty strong odor. Just be careful of what you're booking when making your reservations. "We only stayed here for one night while in Kyoto but there were a few issues for us - you can’t control the air-conditioning - the staff has it locked - my husband messed with it for 30 minutes until we saw the note in the room - it was pretty warm in the room, so that was frustrating - it also was a bit loud because the hotel is in a busy area. However, the rest of the hotel was great. Staff was very nice and they held our extra luggage before and after checkout. Wouldn’t recommend for a long-term stay."
