"Very friendly and helpful service. Hôtel is conveniently located and the small spa is nice (although no pool). Food options however are limited. Breakfast is decent but avoid half board. The ground floor restaurant basically reuses left over breakfast items! "

"The apartment is in a superb location in Avoriaz and as were were travelling with two young children this was a priority. However that apartment itself is very small for a family of 4 especially having a travel cot and the only space for our daughter to sleep was in the main living area which wasn't ideal as it left nowhere for us to sit once she had gone to bed. Putting that to one side we could have lived with the size if it had been clean. When we arrived the flat really spelt terribly of...

"The apartment was clean and neat. Staff were friendly. Stay was very comfortable Should have added more plugs. No place to plug on the toaster/kettle. You have to unplug the tv/light to plug them in and keep them on floor
The main issue was there was no wifi. We booked through hotels.com who told there was free wifi. But the receptionist told the details were not changed even though it was informed several times."

"Nous avons réservé cet appartement et notre séjour a été très décevant.
• Manque d’équipements essentiels : À notre arrivée, il manquait des couettes et des couverts. Malgré de nombreuses relances (appels et e-mails), une seule couette nous a été livrée au bout de plusieurs jours, et aucun suivi n’a été effectué pour le reste des problèmes signalés.
• Propreté insuffisante : L’appartement était dans un mauvais état : vitres sales, moquette tachée, machine à café non vidée, vaisselle sale,...

Great family holiday.
"We had a fantastic stay for our family ski holiday.
We've stayed in other places in Avoriaz in the past and the location of L'Amara is just spot on for children.
Our appointment was directly above the ski locker which was straight out onto the run.
We used the pool area a couple of times and although it was quite busy, it never felt crowded.
The parking was convenient and easy to access the appartment from it.
The appartment itself was actually surprisingly roomy for an avoriaz appartment. We had a 2 bed one and it was plenty big enough for a family of 6, including 2 under 5's. The kitchen was well equipped.
Overall, we would stay again if we returned to Avoriaz again. "
