Nous avons bien profité de l’espace spa à l’arrivée et également le jour du départ. Le repas du soir au restaurant était excellent. Le buffet au petit déjeuner était très correct. Établissent avec bcp de jolies décorations.

Das Hotel war ordentlich bis gut, das Restaurant war nicht gut. Sie hatten eine Speisekarte und als wir bestellten, sagte man, habe die gewünschte Speise nicht. Man könnte das auch sagen, wenn man die Karte abgibt.

Cute hotel

Hotel staff are very nice and helpful. Hotel is very cute and rooms are of good sizes. Tea and cakes in the afternoon, and tea/coffee in the evening are well appreciated. A nice lounge area, and game rooms (one with PS2, and one for smaller children) are also great additions to the hotel. Wifi was usable but unreliable at times. Locker room right downstairs (can use lift) and the free train shuttle to the gondola stops right outside the hotel. Hotel is about 7 minutes walking distance to the gondola. Many restaurants very near by. Bathrooms are quite dated though and too simple. Breakfast was pretty good.

Charming

We were there for a week long ski holiday. The rooms and furniture are a bit dated, and stairs creaky, as one would expect from an over 100 year old building. The showers were also not great. However beds, sheets and towels were fresh, clean and soft. Wifi and hot water always available. Every member of the staff was super friendly and helpful, there was a real sense of pride in good service. Special thanks to Arnaud for his brilliant suggestions on the days we couldn't ski. Things to look out for: it is a steep walk up from the train & gondola station, so take the little green train if carrying heavy equipment (it's free, and circles the village every 20 or 30min). Hotel Reception is closed between 1200-1500 hours, and again at night (between 2100-0700 I think?), but there is a bell & a phone in case one needs anything. Views are great, but rooms are not soundproof. You will hear people going up & down the stairs. Breakfast fare is good (the bread & cheese options were excellent), and hot meals can be ordered. Afternoon Tea cakes were brilliant, I regret only going once the entire time. Try not to miss those. Overall, a charming and friendly place to stay.

Très bel hôtel familial, accueil parfait, tres belle chambre, petit déjeuner extra. La seule chose qui pourrait manquer c'est une petite piscine intérieure ou jacuzzi, Je recommande vivement !

Wonderful hotel, wonderful staff, wonderful view in a beautiful corner of Switzerland. Our son forgot his toy animal, the reception actually sent it to us in the mail afterwards. We enjoyed it so much that we came back a few weeks later for another night. Very good breakfast also.
