"The building is a nice example of 1930s style and architecture, but it shows serious signs of wear and tear in the hallways and in the rooms. The rooms are modest at best. The hotel staff claimed that was typical for this hotel but I’ve never had a hotel room without a curtain. We ended up hanging up a blanket so we could sleep. The room doesn't have a microwave, and there's no bottled water or water station, but I didn't find it to be a big deal. The location is decent and I felt safe enough returning at night, but I did keep the shades closed because my room was on a low floor visible from the street."
